PROGRESSIVE & TRANSFER TOOLING

Progressive tooling are Complex multi-operation tooling for high volume parts production. Coupled with an auto-feeder system this type of press tooling enables the production of hundreds of parts per minute.

Transfer tooling are similar to progressive tooling and are used for parts which require multi-stage operations. These operations are assisted by automated mechanical fingers which transfer parts from one process to the next in a predefined manner. The difference is in that products are blanked first in transfer tooling thus eliminating the need for a carrying web.

MANUAL TOOLING

Manual tooling is most suitable for low volume runs. These designs require manual loading per stroke but are capable of producing parts where there are more intricate features.

Best for prototyping, market testing, high mix - low volume production, and high value parts production.
